Fixing the Broken World (lets join in)

The world is so broken. That means so are GOD's people. They are also separate, splintered and disjointed. There is no wonder unity is tough to come by.

We understand so little about Him, I can see Him delaying His return so we can get our act together. Without His Love we are doomed to devour one another in our service “for Him".

What have we learned concerning GOD's Ways. …for one, we want to color that picture outside of the lines. The Truth of the Judah born Son of the Creator escapes us.

This GREAT UNIFICATION of the Nations WITH Israel will happen! The many folks who kick against the reality that the Nations will and must submit to the GOD of Israel and His Word causes many to fall apart. What gives?  That arrival will not only cause panic, but it will also renew, heal and restore the hope we need. Hopefully, sooner than later.

The overarching theme connecting these Scriptures is supernatural reunification and the restoration of a fractured humanity under one Authority. This theme progresses from the national healing of ancient Israel to a universal, universal renewal where all divisions—ethnic, spiritual, and physical are permanently resolved.

If you have not heard of the way He will restore the divided and make us "whole", you are in for a Biblical treat. Below, I will provide just a few points of reference for you and us all to go and dissect. Understand, we MUST!

Ezekiel 37 draws attention to the “Two Sticks”. This is a big deal for the Nation of Israel as a whole. This act is where GOD instructs Ezekiel to join two wooden sticks—one representing the southern kingdom (Judah) and one for the northern kingdom (Joseph/Ephraim).

It symbolizes the miraculous end to a 3.5 century old tribal schism. In our term today, I will use “split”. If it was not for GOD, all rebellion will continue to shatter and divide His people. He alone can weld back His people together again.

Talk about having someone crying out for restoration… Jeremiah was that dude! In chapter 31, we read the hope of a unified people. The cool thing is, we will all be following the one Covenant!

GOD uses Jereminah to provide all the structure needed for this reunion to take place. It is a Promise! We know what happens when GOD makes those. THEY HAPPEN!  The Father of Israel and the world will write His Law (you know, the One many folks have run from) is written on the heart rather than stone. This transformation makes the "oneness" possible by removing the internal source of division—SIN.

Do you recall when Yeshua’s prayer for His (12) selected ones (maybe all of us are included in that too) would be unified? Yeah… That can be located in John 17.

He knows what will happen, but we, the readers did not, until read what GOD’s Plan was in His Son’s prayer. Jesus extends this prophecy to the entire world, praying that His “followers be one just as He and the Father are one”.

If you consider the Nations and Israel are the "two sticks", you will (should) notice their ultimate fulfillment in every believer will be unified, but in the Messiah, of Israel, where the 12 Tribes and Gentiles are grafted into one believing and submitted body.

Have you read in Ezekiel concerning the New Jerusalem, where "the Nations walk by the Light of GOD, and the tree of life heals the world? Is this not the sign of the complete restoration of Eden?

Here is something else I want to add. I am not sure if I should, but here it is:

  • The Valley of Dry Bones (Ezekiel 37:1–14): A euphemism for a state of utter hopelessness and spiritual death. Restoration requires a resurrection of the Breath (Spirit) of GOD before unity can occur.

  • Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38): Often seen as symbols of the final external resistance to GOD's unified Kingdom. The Land will be cleansed.

One day, Father will not only unify us all but wipe every tear. We have to endure the deadly approach we have to the Truth of GOD. We work hard to be separate, even though the Savior wants us to be unified.

In a Hebraic perspective, not the Greek, the concept of Spiritual restoration refers to the Biblical process where the repair of Israel serves as the catalyst for the spiritual renewal of all Nations.
