Serving Our Community and Serving You
If you are part of a business, or are walking alone, allow us to serve you. We are working and striving to be committed to community-driven entities. This non-profit has the "blessed to be a blessing" viewpoint. That moniker belongs to Abraham, and “Bridges to the Community” wants to echo that.
We keep the process simple.
Building a thriving community starts with strong relationships and mutual support. Support is not always money. Like anything, if people know and believe that you genuinely care about them, they will come visit your location.
“Bridges” offers love, attention and a multiplicity of ways to listen and engage. What we ask of you, the community is, allow us to help you. The greatest cost is time. …yours.
We are here to Serve the Community and Serve You. Healthy and whole relationships and people are what we desire to help build. The hurting is everywhere!
If “Fostering Healthy Communities” can help your people and your agency by assisting them so they can thrive, allow us to work to do that.
As an employee, if you are looking for ways to strengthen your impact at work, or if you are the employer who wants to retain your people and help them to succeed in assisting you with providing better support to the businesses (and individuals) you serve, we desire to work with you.
This is not an easy process, but in the end, you will see it was worth the self-investment.
If you want to broaden your community impact, those of you looking to integrate service into their business model, I encourage you to donate equity, time, or product back to the community. This is accomplished through one person at a time.
We help with the inner person. You will continue to accomplish what you have been, but with the helpful goal of focusing on investing in the self and the person.
The stronger the individual business, owner (and employees), the more stable and vibrant the community becomes.
How can we help you support your network today?
Knowing and loving GOD first is widely considered the essential foundation for genuinely loving others. This perspective, deeply rooted in both Biblical and relational practice, suggests that human love is often limited or conditional when it relies solely on its own strength. We need more! Relying on our own abilities has always left us empty and searching for more.
The idea that loving GOD precedes loving others effectively is centered on understanding that GOD is the Source of Love. Therefore, true love is not something humans manufacture on their own; it is a divine quality that must be received before it can be shared.
The Book of Deuteronomy and Jesus, GOD’s Son, identified loving GOD with all one's heart, soul, and mind as the "first and greatest Commandment" (Matthew 22:37-38).
This priority establishes a healthy foundation for all other relationships. Need I remind you, loving people is work. Loving customers is work and loving yourself is also work.
Humans are only able to love because GOD first loved them (1 John 4:19).
Understanding and experiencing GOD's Unconditional Love provides the security and "fuel" needed to love others, even when they are difficult to deal with.
Repeating myself…, but “When you and I are building a thriving community, it starts with strong relationships and mutual support.”
“Support is not always money.” We have learned that listening and availability are more valuable, when someone is hurting and lonely.
“Like anything, if people know and believe that you genuinely care about them, they will come visit your location.”
Growing in the knowledge of GOD's character helps individuals reflect His patience, kindness, and forgiveness toward others.
Your family and community will hopefully see these attributes in you and want to partake of your physical location, your presence, and your individual ability to care and love on them as a person, above anything else.
Visible expressions of kindness, faith and loving others is often seen as the noticeable extension of an invisible love for GOD and people.
Our services are offered because we see the need to love, help, serve and invest in people. There are greater needs floating around than the perceived personal motivations that steer our lives.
Let’s be blessings to others but let’s first take some loving care and apply it to our own self so we too can heal.
