Rejected by Man, but YOU Fit in GOD’s Purpose

How is it that we fit in GOD, but man finds a way to reject and hurt one another? According to the Scriptures, the human role and place in GOD’s kingdom is one of a redeemed people, dwelling in GOD's Presence, serving as His ambassadors and stewards, and living according to His will.

This rejection is a common theme riddle throughout the Bible. Over the years I’ve been rejected by man, man’s cliques and unbiblical positional segregation, for reasons. However, the LORD has received me.”

The Father receiving the outcast and being rejected is a recurring theme. Our Creators have embraced those cast aside by society, misunderstood by peers, or broken by betrayal.

The Kingdom of GOD is both a spiritual reality within believers and a future physical fulfillment. His Kingdom is to be filled by not only Jacob’s children (tribes), but Abraham’s seed (by faith–the nations). All-in-all, they descend from Abraham, but the specifics lie in how the Bible approaches the fathers of the Nation of Israel.

Jesus said, "the Kingdom of GOD is within you" or "in your midst" (Luke 17:21). This wholly indicates that GOD's rule is a spiritual reality experienced in the hearts and lives of those who willingly submit to His authority. When believers accept the Messiah, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within them, making them a "temple of the Holy Spirit" (1 Corinthians 6:19) and placing them within the Kingdom.

The strain comes when man determines that people are not whom the Spirit of GOD says.

One of the issues is… When this fella says to that fella “leave my church” because of a disagreement or jealousy. As if the authority is his to throw around. Not so.

There is a Biblical protocol for restoration, even if sin is the reason for the strain.  What if it is a difference of opinion, or something easily resolved, by Truth and submission? If the Truth of GOD is sought, and not the perceived power of persuasion and aggression, things can get worked through. That is not my opinion, it is a Biblical precedence and mandate.

GOD's plan throughout Scripture has been to restore the relationship with humanity that was broken by sin, so that He might "dwell among" His people (Revelation 21:3).

What about our plan to obey the LORD and follow His example to restore man after we have wounded and rejected him or her? Our position in the kingdom is secure through faith in Yeshua, the Messiah. He alone makes Shalom in His Father possible.

Even though we may have been kicked out of a local assembly, or fellowship or the like, we have been given citizenship in Heaven, through our faith in the One Who came, bled, died and was raised.

While living on earth, believers have their ultimate citizenship in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). It hurts when man causes this amount of pain towards his fellow journeyman. Does it not? The good news is, our hope is in the Savior of Israel (and the world). This reality redefines the identity and calling of everyone who believes and obey the Words of Almighty GOD! This lifestyle calls for living out Kingdom values in the face of the rejection and pain caused by another one of humanity.

All believers have key roles in advancing GOD’s Kingdom. Please don’t be one to hinder that task. Every one of the faithful followers are required to be ambassadors for Christ, just as the ones who the Risen One sent to the nations. What did He tell them to do? Present the Father, the Spirit and the Son to the rest of the world, by sharing the Word’s taught to the faithful and the 12.

We can all share the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but ONLY if we know them. As we learn of Them, study about Them and read about Them we come to know the Truth that stems from Genesis all the way to the final Book.

Those same people are also called servants (hopefully humble ones) and stewards (hopefully good ones). We fill these roles as we are serving others and managing the Spiritual Gifts and resources GOD has provided.

As Witnesses, Word spreaders and introducers (baptizers), we are told to share those very same Words of the Nation of Israel with the nations (people who are not the descendants of the people of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). However, we must do so accurately, without twisting them in lackluster fervor. We must not preach another version of the One True Gospel, by spinning it according to a certain denominational doctrine.

That effort is not only one to reject another person’s spiritual call, spiritual gift and spiritual ability, but it rejects the One Who provided the call, gifts and abilities.

I ask again, How is it that we fit in GOD, but man finds a way to refuse one who seeks to belong?

Faithful and true believers are to live out Kingdom values as described in the Sermon on the Mount, acting as the grafted in ones who along with the faithful of the 12 Tribes, are called to be the "salt of the earth" and "light of the world".

You fit with GOD’s Purpose and Plan, as co-laborers with Him.

You and I are built up by His Spirit to be actively working alongside Him in good works. He will grant the understanding that will provide the outcomes He wants to see. Those people who reject others for their own glory and ungodly reasons will have to give an account for their ridiculous words and efforts.

Ultimately, belonging in GOD's Kingdom is a whole lot safer and a lot more comforting than being in a place where man is in control, and not the LORD.

Whose authority are we submitting to? If it’s GOD’s, whatever role we fill will also help us to actively pursue the Holy Spirit. He will guide the submitted ones in the ways of cooperating with the righteousness and peace that comes from obeying the Word of GOD.

How is it that we are well-suited in GOD, but man looks for ways to hurt one another? That really is a good question.
