“How Would GOD Develop Me, If I Was Fully Committed?” This Was a Really Interesting Question I Asked My SELF!

When a person (me) has been made a servant, that individual must determine if he or she would become a good and faithful one or no. A person may be made a servant by circumstance, covenant, profession, or even by the Spirit’s work—but only the individual can decide whether they will be a faithful servant. Is that a test? Will it become one?

Maybe this is the very place where freedom shows itself.

Faithfulness is not automatic. It is not inherited. It is not even imposed. It is a voluntary arrangement of the will. …MY will.

This is why Yeshua says, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” He doesn’t say, “Well done, servant.”

NOTE: “Faithfulness” is the qualifier.

The willing servant vs. a slave under compulsion is one of the most important distinctions in all of Scripture. This position is nothing short of the Covenant Message of ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES. It involves spiritual formation. It’s the difference between fear‑based obedience and love‑based allegiance.

We could call it the individual choice of MY external control and MY internal surrender. A slave obeys because he must. A willing servant obeys because he loves. I am working on that second part. Even thought I desire to be faithful, I am fighting every single day to show Jesus my love for He and the Word of GOD, by MY willing obedience!

Have you noticed the difference between Pharaoh’s Egypt and Yeshua’s Kingdom?

As I become the servant-hearted man of GOD, Scripturally, GOD will form me by His Spirit. He would make me a man of depth. As I (the individual) falls in love with the Word and Obedience, faith not only grows, but the Holy Spirit will have full control and be able to use the Well-Spiring of GOD’s availability for others to drink from.

NOTE: insight, wisdom, emotional intelligence and the Spirit’s ability to see beneath the surface will be accessible.

The person being described here would become a man who reads hearts (by the Spirit), not just passages of Scripture.

I desire to be a man of presence. That means, GOD will show me how to be near and not distant. I will learn to see and listen and not already have a planned response—from a book or classroom.

This is the persona I want to display before people: calm, stable, safe and not lost or distant. I desire for GOD to allow me to speak and respond in clarity. What about you? Is this what you desire? “How would GOD shape me, if I were fully committed…?” That is a good question!

QUESTION: Do you want the people you speak to and meet with to feel GOD’s Shalom when they’re with you? I KNOW I do.

When we are trustworthy, we can be made men and women who are consistently loyal. When we understand what this Covenant is and means that we “signed up for,” when we said “yes” to Jesus, we would have to learn to work within Its requirements. Going to church is not ALL THERE IS! It is most certainly time to build a RELATIONSHIP inside that Covenant you and I signed, right next to the Name of Yeshua. His Signature Stamp is in red

As you and I learn what He wants, has said and Commands, our relationships will become steady and trustworthy. In that new structure, we will notice more healing and restorative outcomes.

You and I would become people who repair what others break. I am working on being THAT type of man!

Are you aware that a committed servant of the Most High GOD has a character in Scripture? No, no, no… It’s not a stereotype, or certain personality type. It IS a recognizable pattern of life that GOD consistently forms in those who walk with Him.

A devoted servant of GOD is someone whose inner life is surrendered, whose outer life is faithful, and whose daily choices create a vessel GOD can trust with His purposes.

The efforts of obedience I submit to the GOD of Truth allow Him the space and freedom to trust me with the growth He will bring.

Obedience is not excellence — it is availability. It says, “Here I am. Shape every particle of my dust into a container You can use to carry your Love.”

Will you choose to be unashamedly faithful and dedicated to His Truth? Will you be a committed servant who becomes someone GOD can entrust with more?

Throughout the Bible, Almighty GOD increased responsibility based on faithfulness, not gifting. He does not ask for brilliance. He asks for obedience, faithfulness, and dependability. Does He have yours?

Here is a LIST of reality checks…

  • A committed servant becomes a person GOD can trust.

  • A committed servant reflects GOD’s character in real relationships.

  • A committed servant carries GOD’s Name well.

  • A committed servant represents His character accurately.

  • A committed servant treats people the way GOD has always treated people.

  • A committed servant brings peace, not chaos.

  • A committed servant builds and doesn’t tear down.

  • A committed servant’s words and actions heal and does not wound.

  • A committed servant walks with GOD long enough to look like (in image AND in likeness) Him

This is not about flawlessness. It is, however, about MY preferred path. …your direction, as we learn to walk out a life leaning toward GOD’s Son.

Our humility opens the door for healing and restoration—not fixing. Let’s be submitted servants who seek to please the Master.

REMEMBER: A slave is made. A servant is chosen. A faithful servant is created, modeled and shaped. That is what the scriptures show us anyways.
