(GOD’s Law) Israel’s Guide to Life, Love, Obedience and Jesus

How does a person experience wholeness, transformation, healing, redemption and restoration without trusting in the Deliverer, Healer, Redeemer and Yeshua of the Creator?

I will always seek to advocate for the Truth of GOD to be understood and shared! This is the only way a person will be made whole. Denominations (pieces of the Whole) are tough; they bring rifts and schisms, because each one shares its own belief system/structure and deviates in some capacity from the intent of what the Word Himself has given.

NOTE: GOD is not a liar or unstable. Any teaching that indicates or suggests otherwise, well…

The ONLY Biblical Truth is the One Who sits at the very center (lifeline) of Covenant (obedient love), revelation, and discipleship. How could ANY person say their love is real and whole when the effort of investment into people and follow-through of the Scriptures are incomplete?

Take a look at these descriptive words: Law, Guidelines, Commands, Words and Instructions.

  • Which do you run from?

  • Which have you heard preached or taught that “they do not apply to Christians, but ONLY to Jews?”

Consider the accuracy and legitimacy of the questions.

A true believer and follower must not continue to make his or her own truth, just because they are unable to reconcile their faith’s foundation. The further we move/migrate from the Truth of GOD’s Word, the more denominations we create; and the number of lemmings continue to increase.

Particularly, Jesus-loving people still follow and obey the 10 Commandments, except that Sabbath thing.  “We don’t have to”, some would say. Why would that be? We still have the same Tablets of Instruction as they did thousands of years in history’s past.

Every One of Them are the Words to live by today.

They were GOD’s Commands for “how to treat Him” & “how to love one another.” They are NO Different from the Words Yeshua spoke. Yeshua's Words are His Father's Words. He too lived by the Law and culture of Israel. How and why are people (maybe you) working to present GOD as double-minded, flaky and a flip-flopper?

  • The Tablets given to Moses and likewise, Yeshua’s Words, are one Voice and one Will, thus, one Covenant.

  •  The Tablets were not just Parameters/Standards, They were the exposé of love revealed in the NOW.

  •  The Words of the Christ were not just Rules, They were revelatory to those who heard Them—as exclaimed by Judeans and some pharisees.

In Hebrew thought, the Aseret ha‑Devarim are not called “Commandments” but The Ten Words.

  • Devarim means words, matters and realities spoken into being.

  • They are Covenant speech, not merely legal demands.

  • They reveal GOD’s character, not just His expectations.

So, when you hear it said, they are “Words to live by,” they and we are aligning with the Biblically Hebrew worldview that says, “GOD’s Words are Life because They reveal Who He is.”

NOTE: The Tribes of Jacob prescribed lifestyle (Hebrew worldview) isn’t just a set of ideas — it’s an entire Way of seeing reality. It’s relational, embodied, covenantal, and rooted in the belief that GOD’s Words are not abstract doctrines but Living Forces that shape the world. By this obedience and way of living, they, the chosen ones, were to be a blessing to one another and the ENTIRE WORLD!

Were you aware that both Sets of Commandments were Spoken and written?

1. The First Set of Tablets, according to Exodus 31:18, were broken for reasons known… After GOD finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two Tablets of Testimony, "written by the finger of GOD." This means the first set was physically inscribed by GOD Himself, not by Moses.

2. The Second Set of Tablets were regenerated after Moses broke the first tablets in anger over Israel’s idolatry (Exodus 32:19), GOD Instructed Moses to carve out two new tablets. GOD then said, "I will write on the tablets the Words that were on the first Tablets, which you broke" (Exodus 34:1). This indicates that GOD Himself wrote the Ten Commandments Words) again on the second set.

Have you ever NOT considered Yeshua’s (Jesus’) Words to be the same Voice that was spoken at Sinai? Jesus (Yeshua) insisted that His Teaching is not separate from the Father’s:

  • “My Teaching is not Mine, but His Who sent Me.”

  • “I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

  • “The Words I say to you, I do not speak on My own.”

The problem that exists is, many people say that “the Laws are NOT for today (think 10 Commandments?) because, Jesus did away with them on the cross.“ I can’t find that anywhere in Scripture.

Jesus Himself said the Words (Laws, Precepts, etc.) and intent of GOD’s Word (Laws, Instructions, Ways, etc.) will not pass away (be removed) until full obedience…”), but folks are still advising this portion of misunderstanding. That means, the Word and His Son’s Course will endure and continue in the unchanging nature They were set on.

Below is the reference that is being used to solidify this stance. As you will see, there is nothing there that confirms Jesus canceled the Law (did away with):

13 …and when you were dead in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings, 14 having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him”—Colossians 2:13-15

There is more to this passage, as it covers a lot, but as I mentioned earlier, this is the section people use to detail their position that the Law of GOD has been removed and superseded by the obedient Son of GOD. Not so.

Jesus was a VERY obedient Son and devoted Judean (Jew), and He said and did what His Father Instructed Him to. In fact, His father was “well pleased” with Him.

Teaching and saying other than what His Father & Spirit said would not make Him obedient. Would it?

"For truly I say unto you, until heaven and earth pass, one “jot” or one “tittle” shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be followed."

  • The "jot" (iota in Greek) refers to the smallest letter in the Hebrew alphabet, called yod (י). It looks similar to an apostrophe and is tiny in size, but it is essential for the meaning and pronunciation of Hebrew words.

  • The "tittle" is an even smaller mark than a jot. It refers to the tiny decorative strokes or projections (called tagin or kotz) that distinguish one Hebrew letter from another.

  • Yeshua is emphasizing the enduring nature of GOD’s Law—every detail, even the smallest, remains valid until its purpose is fulfilled.

Since GOD and His Son are “One”, the Sinai Voice and the Galilee, Nazareth and Capernaum Voice are the same Voice. The same Holy Breath that carved the tablets is the Breath that formed Yeshua’s parables, rebukes, blessings, and invitations.

NOTE: This is why the early followers (disciples) didn’t see Yeshua as replacing Torah, they saw Him as REpresenting It.

NOTE: Jesus was not quoting any of his follower’s writings. Neither did he refer to Saul/Paul. Why would He? He ONLY and always spoke what His Father and Spirit said, and He quoted the TANAKH.

…Passover reference below; but it reaches further than Egypt.

“No foreigner may eat of it… but if a stranger sojourns with you (ger) and wants to keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land; but no uncircumcised (of heart as well) person shall eat of it.”

NOTE: This shows that participation in the community and its worship required acceptance of GOD’s Covenant and Law. Only those who are circumcised (of heart as well) and willing to follow GOD’s Law may participate.

REMINDER: Passover is an annual rebirth celebration of the day the Nation of Israel (and the rabble/other people) were ‘delivered’ from sin and bondage.

Allow that to sink in. They had to be delivered by faithfully killing a blemish less lamb (or goat), and His blood was to be used over the threshold the home, so death would not enter in. …by faith. This is PRE-Jesus but is a foretelling of Him and what will set us free…by faith and obedience.

GOD's Word is Perfect, Holy and Powerful – even without our involvement. When we get our "selves" in the middle of it with denominational doctrines, personal (nationality & race or culture driven) assumptions and presumptions, we have done the emotionally and spiritually hurting a GRAVE disservice!

Numbers 15:15-16: “One Law (Word/Jesus) and one Rule shall be for you and for the stranger (ger) who sojourns with you.” Both Israelites and foreigners living among them were expected to follow GOD’s Law (Word/Son).

Deuteronomy 29:9-15: GOD’s Covenant is for all who are present and willing to enter into It. Those who reject It are warned of exclusion and consequences.

Yeshua (Jesus) is the Living Torah — the Word Made Flesh

In the Words of the Judean people, Torah is not merely Law; it is:

  • GOD’s Wisdom

  • GOD’s Instruction

  • GOD’s Self‑disclosure

  • GOD’s Covenantal intent

So, when John says: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us,” he is saying:

The same Word that thundered at Sinai walked among us in sandals. Yeshua doesn’t contradict the Father’s Words — He incarnates Them.

We have to ask, "Why not learn to understand" what "He" was talking about? Why fight against the fact that the Word we “love” is the Nation of Israel’s Command to live by. We get to share It by faith in Him & obedience to It.

When we build schools to sway thought instead of relaying the ORIGINAL WORDS “in” proper context”, we make the outcome different.

Even slightly off is a lie and that displeases the Father of Truth. ...and we wonder why we don't see the Spirit of GOD "moving" like He had when people took Him at His Word!

...and we wonder why lives are not being transformed and people not "being saved, changed & redeemed" and not "humbly surrendering" before the Holy One of Israel.

We need to stand on the Truth of GOD’s Word and learn to love It, Him and one another according to what the Law through the Revelation Commands. Abraham and his sons were following GOD even before the Law was given.

What a treat, that It was written down for the People of “the Promise!”
