The Benefit and Purpose of the Life of GOD's Spirit in the Body’s Members
When we read from Genesis to Revelation, we will see how the Spirit of GOD has served well the creation recipients. We can CERTAINLY see this in the ability the Holy Spirit gives those who are in service to the Creator (Son).
Just as GOD's Spirit (Breath) gives life's animation to the "dust" of the body (“becoming a soul”), so does the Holy Spirit give GOD's life order through abilities to assist, govern and keep the body of Messiah unified and orderly to help. These Gifts are provided to help each member of the body for its wholeness and health. As the body unifies and gains healthy status and awareness, this enables the Head and members to seek the lost and hopeless among and in the Nations.
NOTE: Internal combusting and self-destruction are not a show/sign or display of health and obedience to following what the Head (Brain) is Commanding and signaling.

Being Greek and English minded is a dangerous choice, since the Bible to written (originates) in the languages of Chaldean, Akkadian, Aramaic and (Hebrew in the Land of Canaan, for His set apart ones - Israel).
koine Greek was used to communicate with the surrounding people who had been overrun by the power of the Roman-Greco rulers. …namely Alexander “the Great.”
Let’s begin our quest for understanding by tossing out two key words that will assist our look into describing the Spirit’s Power and Gifts (abilities) in GOD’s body of people. These words are labeled as: Chokhmah and Chayil.
The expressions, actions and understanding of the Spiritual Gifts are derived, purposed and expected among the masses of regular, everyday people for the purpose of transforming them into impactful respondents of the Ruach of GOD, their Moreh.
Chayil — Spirit-Empowered Strength That Governs the Body
If you have ever found yourself curious about our connection between physical creation and our Spiritual purpose in Messiah, the Moreh (Teacher) is MORE THAN capable and willing to open you and I up to a greater insight than ever before.
Chokhmah — Spirit-Given Wisdom That Orders the Inner Life
Just as Genesis describes “the Creator GOD breathing life into the dust of the ground to create a living being,” the Scriptures teaches that the Holy Spirit provides the GOD expressed configuration and order necessary to govern, unify, and prepare a person for service.
One again… The terms Chokhmah and Chayil have major roles in this.
The Holy Spirit works within a faithful follower to bring harmony between the physical body ("dust") and the Spirit of Life that was breathed into our nostrils. Rather than being at war with itself, the transformed life displays divine order, peace, and self-control – governed by our willingness to surrender control to the will of GOD, through His Spirit.
Humanity was never meant to be “Spirit trapped in flesh.” It was meant to be Spirit Who is governing flesh. …like a musician playing an instrument.
Selah <think on this>… Sin didn’t make the body evil. It made (brands) the body unruly and disconnected from its rightful Conductor. The Spirit restores that original harmony and Authority.
Our soul MUST choose which we will follow and allow to lead us. The Holy Spirit empowers and instructs us in all of this.
There are certainly some benefits of the Giftings and Abilities seen in Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 12 (beginning and end) and Romans 12. GOD, the father, Jesus, the Son and the Holy Spirit, our Teacher gave these to the body of Messiah (the bride), so we can work to be spot free and blemish less – all the while we (the body) are sharing Them Father, Son and Spirit) with the Nations (see Mathew 28).
Through His Gifts that are OF the Spirit, inner renewal is heightened and made 100% available. We have ZERO excuse to remain the way we are! The Holy Spirit provides the abilities and attributes (such as the Fruits of the Spirit) needed to assist and guide the soul.
Why is this woo-woo, weird and often unexplainable stuff necessary in the body? Is It needed? I will say this to the doubter. You have always been a recipient of what the woo-woo, weird and often unexplainable stuff has to offer. You just did not understand Him. We must “learn of Him” and trust that the Son of GOD has a clue of what His body needs.
NOTE: I caution you about REJECTING the Holy Spirit and what he offers the body.
There is a Global Mission set in place by the Creator of the world and mankind!
This internal ordering of the Spirit of GOD is not just for the individual to have (own) and maintain (covert) the Shalom of ADONAI; He serves a greater outward purpose. The Spirit’s Abilities, Empowerments, Attributes and Gifts equips the Knesset (community/body/church) to fulfill the Command of enthusiastically and energetically telling the world about Them. In doing THIS, each follower of Elyon (Most High) MUST obey Yeshua’s Instruction to seek out, comfort and provide Their Hope to the lost, broken, disconnected, clueless and needy across ALL the Nations.
When we look through the lens of the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament 39 Books), the concepts of abilities, attributes, or character virtues are described using concrete, action-oriented words.
REMEMBER: The terms Chokhmah and Chayil have major roles in this.
In the Hebrew mindset, these are not abstract mental qualities, but physical realities put into motion by GOD's Breath (Ruach).
NOTE: In the language of His chosen ones, chokhmah is often translated as Wisdom, but its truest Biblical meaning is applied skill or the practical ability to do something EXACTLY as GOD orders it.
EXAMPLE – When GOD wanted to build the Tabernacle (ordering physical materials for a holy purpose), He filled the craftsmen with the Spirit of GOD (Ruach Elohim) in chokhmah –Ex 31:3
NOTE: Another cool word (new to me) is gevurah. This refers to the inherent strength or fortitude required to govern oneself, establish order, and overcome obstacles. It is an attribute of GOD that He shares with humans via His Spirit to enable them to accomplish difficult missions.
EXAMPLE – When the prophets or leaders were sent to speak to the Nations or correct injustice, the Ruach gave them gevurah—the courage and physical/spiritual stamina to stand firm –Micah 3:8
NOTE: Many of today’s languages tend to separate moral "virtue" from physical "ability," the Hebrew word chayil combines them. It means efficiency, capability, material strength, and moral integrity all wrapped into one.
EXAMPLE – An eshet-chayil (often translated as a virtuous woman) or men of truth/ability, describes people whose physical actions, resources, and inner character are perfectly unified and working efficiently to manage a household or a nation under GOD's order –Ex 18:21
The body of Messiah NEEDs ADONAI’s Spirit and Word to teach us. We NEED the activation of the Holy Spirt in the body. When He is NOT, we WILL DEVOUR one another.
Please don’t say WE DON’T. The person saying that is LIKELY the one who is leading that destruction.
NOTE: ADONAI reveals that chokhmah is activated when His Word or Command meets a willing heart. This skill is never meant for isolated glory; it is explicitly designed so that different members of the body must rely on one another to build GOD's dwelling place.
When ADONAI ordered the construction of the Tabernacle, He filled Bezalel and Oholiab with the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of GOD) in chokhmah. Scripture states that ADONAI not only gave Bezalel the physical skill to craft, but also "put in his heart that he may teach" (see Exodus 35:34).
The Ruach activated the skill and the ability to pass it on, creating a collaborative community where every weaver, carver, and metalworker worked in perfect coordination to form one unified sanctuary.
Through His Word, ADONAI shows that when the Ruach moves, chokhmah ensures that our hands know exactly what to build to support the person next to you, while chayil ensures that our heart has the fierce, unshakeable integrity required to step outside our borders and bring hope to the lost.
Where are the specific passages where chokhmah and chayil are given to regular, everyday people in the scriptures to see how their physical "dust" responded to the Ruach?
When the chokhmah and chayil are poured into ordinary, everyday people, the Mercy and Kindness of the LORD show not only the body, but the Nations exactly how His physical "dust" (body) responds to the movement of the Ruach.
Serving Elohim requires governing, organizing, and making righteous decisions. The Holy Spirit provides all of this for the Body of His Son. We must be obedient and do what we have been given to do, so the body as a WHOLE can be not only EQUIPPED, but HEALTHY to assist one another, but work TOGETHER to reach the Nations.
